<Distribution of Application forms>
Starting from 1 September 2023, parents can apply through the following channels:

2. Download from school website or
3. Apply online (https://dki-stthomas.catholic.edu.hk/admission)
<Submission of Application forms>
Period: 1/9/2023 to 31/10/2023
Time: 8:45am to 5:30pm (Mon to Fri) / 9:00am to 12:30pm (Sat)
Apply Online: The applicant need to upload student photo, copy of HK birth certificate or valid proof of residence in HK, copy of a Catholic Certificate of Baptism (if applicable) and pay the application fee($40) at school.
By Hand: The applicant should return the application form together with photo, copy of HK birth certificate or valid proof of residence in HK, copy of a Catholic Certificate of Baptism (if applicable) and $40 application fee.
The school will notify parents of the date, time and related arrangements for the interview via email.
<Information Session and Interview Arrangement>

The interview is conducted through group games (the child can be accompanied by one parent)
Children will be granted an interview if parents return the application form on time.
Parent must accompany your child and come for the interview on the time arragned
The interview is mainly conducted in Cantonese. If necessary, parent may choose to use Putonghua or English when making the application.
For NCS applicants, we allow parents and children to be accompanied by a Chinese speaking relative/friend during the interview to facilitate communication. If you have any enquiry, please feel free to contact us 2449 9879 or email to clerk@stthomas.edu.hk.
<Admission criteria>
1.The younger brother or younger sister of the current student
2.Observe children’s performance
3.Catholic students who have been baptized (submit the student baptism paper certificate)
4.Alumni’s younger siblings
5.Parents are alumni
6.When applying for whole-day admission, kindergartens should give priority to families who need such services, such as dual-career families, and families who need full-time services based on special circumstances, such as families who need to take care of people with disabilities at home
<Admission arrangements>
1.The school will schedule the interview day for the child.
2.Parents will be notified the result by email and message from school
3.Successful applicants: Parents should complete the registration procedures for their child
from 4 to 6 January 2024 (Centralised Registration Dates) by submitting the RC / AP to the KG and paying the registration fee.
4.Applicants on the waiting list: Parents should complete the registration procedures for their child according to the specified date set by the KG. Parents are required to submit the RC / AP to the KG and pay the registration fee.
5.Please be reminded that if parents cannot submit the RC / AP during registration, the KG may not be able to complete registration for their child. Hence, parents are required to submit application for the registration document to the EDB within the specified period.
6.If the child concerned studies in the KG, the registration fee paid will be refunded in September. Should parents decide to change school after registration, please notify the KG in writing. The KG will return the RC / AP as soon as possible but the registration fee will not be refunded. Upon obtaining the RC / AP, the KG will no longer keep the school place for the child.

<Open Day>
Date: 20/12/2023(Thu)
<Announcement of admission list>
Parent will be informed by email or SMS on or before 15 December 2023 whether your child is admitted or not.
<Registration matters>
1. Territory-wide registration date is 4 to 6 January 2024
2. Submission of "2024/25 Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission" / "Admission Pass" / "Provisional Registration Letter" as a registration document together with the registration fee ($900)
3. From the end of January to the beginning of February 2024, the reserve students will be notified by phone to go to the school for registration (the documents and fees in item 2 above must be provided during registration)
4. If the child gives up the school place after registration, you must notify us in writing, and the paid registration fee will not be refunded
